Daps’ journey with food began in the bustling streets of Manila and the rich culinary landscape of Pampanga. Immigrating to the US in '94, Chef Daps brings over two decades of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, drawing inspiration from heirloom dishes from Lolas, Titos and Titas, street food vendors especially, and the diverse culinary scenes of Philadelphia and New York City.
From intimate pop-ups to innovative Filipino gastropubs, Chef Daps’ mission is to connect you with authentic Filipino culture through dishes that rekindle comfort, joy, and cherished memories.
